Step 2: The Treatment

A filler treatment is straightforward and typically takes only 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. Approximately half an hour before the treatment, the assistant or the doctor will apply a numbing cream to the areas to be treated. Through a series of strategic injections with a very thin needle, the doctor will add extra volume to the chosen areas until the desired effect is achieved. You will see immediate results.

To clearly document the outcome of the treatment, photos will be taken for your medical record.

Step 3: The Check-up

After the treatment, you can immediately resume your daily activities. Please be aware that your skin may show some slight swelling and redness, which gradually diminishes and typically disappears within a few hours. You will receive tips from the doctor for proper aftercare.

In the days following the treatment, the effect may enhance due to the filler’s moisture-absorbing nature. This achieves a healthy and voluminous effect that accentuates specific areas of your face. The duration of the filling effect depends on the region and the firmness of the gel used. On average, the filling effect of the filler can last 12-18 months.

Hyaluronic acid is naturally broken down by the body into its own substances. After this process, you can safely repeat the treatment as needed.
